Born this Way Album Reviews!

I can't possibly review all the songs in one day, so I'll post some reviews of my new favorites. :D

Government Hooker

Favorite Lyrics:

I'm gonna drink my tears tonight cause I know you love me baby.
Put your hands on me...John F. Kennedy.
I'll make you squeal baby; as long as you pay me.
I love how it sounds like the start of an Italian aria and then it breaks down into synth beats. I've been waiting for this song ever since she previewed it during Paris fashion week at the Mugler fashion show. Has anyone else ever written a song about Marilyn Monroe being JFK's mistress?! Hello, awesome.

Judas

I love stuff that takes bibilical or religious stories and art and twists it with something new, funny or intriguing. Gaga does this brilliantly...the song cannot exist without the video - I think the video explains it all. Gaga as Mary Magdelene - in love with Judas, forgiving him for his sins because without those occurences then the "prophesy of life" could not be fulfilled. She's basically saying that bad things happen for good reason and we have to move on and move forward.

Americano

This song make me want to put on a fucking mariachi hat and stomp my feet into the floor until it breaks out from under me. Enough said.

Schieβe

Favorite Lyrics (ALL!!!):
I wish that I could dance on a single prayer / I wish I could be strong without somebody there / I wish that I could dance on a single prayer / I wish I could be strong without the Schieβe, yeah.

I don't speak German, but I wish I could.

Another song I've been waiting oh so patiently to hear in it's entirety since the Mugler fashion show in Paris. This is one of my TOP favorites from the album.
